How do I apply for a Gov Grant and do I qualify?

I am a 43 year old woman who works p/t and barly makes ends meet. I live in California and I am a American Citizen. What kind of grant may I qualify for?

You MUST fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It takes awhile, but it's the only way to get federal aid. They will then tell you how much you qualify for in federal grants and loans. Hopefully you will qualify for a Pell Grant, which won't need to be repaid, or at least subsidized loans, for which the government pays all your interest while you are in school.
