College Grants 2009
What are some sucessful ways of getting scholarships?
I am a passionate writer, and I want to go to Columbia College Chicago in the fall of 2009. CCC doesn't offer almost ANY scholarships/ grants, I need to figure out a way to find good ones, or scholarships to look for. Any scholarships in the past that you have recieved and you reccomend applying for.
ps. I already look on fastweb.com , it's just a little overwhelming.
Check the guidance department at the school your in now, talk to your counselor or search online for some scholarships in your residential area, chances are better if only a select group of people can apply. Fill out a profile on scholarships.com and they will give you a long list of matches, it may be overwelming, but they have a lot of writing contests on there you may want to check out. Applying For Scholarships is competitive, but if you don't put in the work you wont have much of a chance.
