A second Scholarship Program that you should take a look at is the Sam Walton Community Scholarship. $1,000 every year for 4 years are available to those who get the fellowship. Eligible applicants are those who've been out of school for at least one year and who work with Walmart.
The Associate Scholarship provided by Walmart is also something to consider. Humor, journalism, and dramatic script are some works in writing that you need to submit to apply. Applicants can also submit works of non-ficion and poetry as well.

While applying For Scholarships, keep in mind not to rely on one or two Scholarship Programs only. Play your weaknesses so as to make them appear as a hardship you've had to go through to get to where you are now.
The trick about applying for scholarships is to zoom in and focus on as many as you qualify for and make sure to apply for them before their deadlines. Having a main essay that you can tweak for different scholarship programs can help you to more easily get the essay part done and still have a strong essay to present to the scholarship committee.

If my parents wont even cosign a College Loan with me, what should i do to get a loan?
My parents have made it clear that they will not help me at all financially with college, and are kicking me out at the start of the summer, so i need a loan pretty much asap. I am almost 18, and with like no credit or anything, what can I do to Pay For College?
I am a minority with my parents not helping me out even though they can afford to. Is there some foundation or something to help me out to give me Free Money For College?
Finally, almost all loans ask about your parents' earnings, but if they are not going to help me what is the point? Heeelp!
Also, my mom (single parent) makes like 60 thousand a year, making my EFC 04693 C, so that probably messes up chances of me getting a good loan/ grant on the fafsa.
People who read my fafsa will probably assume my parents will like pay for college, but they wont, so what should i do?
You do not need a cosigner for a Federal Student Loan. The Stafford loan is the loan you will be offered by the schools financial aid office and your mom doesn't have anything to do with it. The beginning process of applying for a stafford loan is you filling out your fafsa Application, and since that is already done, you are half way there!!!
Contact your school and find out what other paperwork you need to do. As a dependent freshman, you will be able to borrow up to 5,500 a year with no cosigner and no credit check. Find a school that costs less than this and you will be fine. Don't forget you have to reapply for financial aid every year, so next year when you and your mom are doing your taxes you MUST reapply for fafsa.
Your mom's income will be required on it again, so don't make her mad and don't assume you won't need her info on it because she kicked you out because you WILL.
Don't let the fact that your mom isn't helping you pay stop you from getting your education!! It's nice when folks can help out, but not entirely necessary. Just choose a school that you can attend for less than the loans and scholarships you are awarded and you will be fine.
Good luck.
