An easy scholarship to apply to is the $10,000 scholarship at Scholarship Zone.  If you want to appy you need to be at least 18 and live in the United States.  To enter the drawing, simply complete their one-page registration form.  The drawings have deadlines so make sure to register before then.

Coe College has a writing scholarship you may want to check out.  The scholarship value is worth more than $1,000 for students who get the scholarship.  Students who wish to apply for the Scholarship Program need to have a minimum of a 2.5 grade pointa verage and also they need to demonstrate financial need.

Students who qualify can apply for one of six scholarships at Arkansas Tech Unviersity.  $1,500 are awarded to the eligible applicants and this money can be used for any program of study.  You need to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and academic excellence.

Do you think the minority scholarship is fair?WHY?

I am arabic, but I hate it. Oh you are black or spanish here's a scholorship for getting a alomost 3.o, take 100% for that shitty GPA. While there could be a white person who works their ass off, but they are discirminated against because they are white. I know it's a private fund la da da. I am in Florida, but if you havn't heard of it, does it sound fair?

No its absolutly not fair. Here's a scholarship for being black! being spanish! Whatever. I mean yeah if those people have a good GPA or community service or whatever than its ok. If they deserve it. But honestly, people are always saying they want equality between races.....what kind of equality is it when you are privliged with an education because you are a certain race. It would make me feel horrible. Like I only got this because people feel sorry for me or something. It's most definitly not fair.
I'm arabic too.
