The Los Angeles Alumni Chapter is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for freshmen students of the Greater Los Angeles Area who are enrolled at ASU for the 2009-2010 academic year. We will be granting unrestricted Merit Scholarships to freshmen for the Spring 2010 semester. We will Grant three (3) scholarships valued at $500 each to freshmen and one (1) scholarship valued at approximately $500 to a sophomore. As a resident of the Greater Los Angeles area, and contingent on your returning to attend Arizona State University for your second semester, you are eligible to apply for this award!  The scholarship is worth $500.  You need to be either a college freshman or sophomore to qualify.

i ran across an article on http://collegesoup.net on scholarships... it said to sign up for various diff services, not just fastweb. will this help my chances of getting a scholarship?

hm.... seems like a smart thing to do. fastweb scholarships are really hard to get- never gotten one
