BestPrivate student loan without cosigner(Check sent to me, not school)?

I am looking for a private student loan to help pay for my housing so I would need this loan check sent directly to me; not to my school.

I would like to have one without a cosigner since I am 19 with no credit history and am paying for College on my own?

Is there a high interest loan like that out there that I can apply for?

You will not be able to get a private student loan without a cosigner. Student Loans that go directly to the student are non existent anymore. In order for you to get a private student loan you will have to have a cosigner with good credit and a stable, high income. The loan money will go directly to the school and if everything has already been paid for, like your tuition and fees and such then the school will send the excess to you to pay for housing and misc. Unfortunately, the usually don't release the excess funds until four weeks after the semester has started so if you are needed it before then you are out of luck.
