**what help can students get in regards to ...?

hi im a student living and studying in scotland full time, i currently live with my parents however im moving into a rented apartment with my friend who is doing an apprenticeship and goes to College rotational with working so i dont really know if he is classed as a student ...however i would really like to know if saas or if anyone in england can give some advice, what financial help is given? is it loans? or bursaries?
just very curious because atm i get zilch because of my parents high income, even though i get zilch of there money !

any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am going to be in a similar situation when i start uni. I have looked in to every possible funding option. In scotland if your parents arent unemplyed and earn a decient wage you will get nothing in grants or funding. I cant even Get A Student Loan even though i wont be getting money from my parents. Its rediculous our parents will be paying more tax but its the poor people who get all the grants and money for just showing up at uni. To be classed as a student i am prety sure you have to be in full time education.

hope this helps
