whats the best student loan with a dispersement that goes to the student instead of directly to the school?

my school takes forever to approve my loans and give me the remaining. so im always late on purchasing books and supplies. now i need a loan that comes to me so i can pay the school with a certified check. but i want the best choice with a low apr and possible fixed rate instead of a prime variable rate

Thats not a good answer.

The school gives you grace period of at least a month which is because of the loangrand processing.

I do my math on paper so I get 0 balance after everything is applied. If their system erroneously charges me a late fee, I can get I removed later without a problem.
