Government Grant For Single Mothers (house or condo grant)?

I have tried to search for a grant and it is very confusing to me. Also a 3 and a half year old chatting in my ear the whole search does not help. He is only gone when I have to go to work lol.

Please can someone explain the process by which I can find a grant from the government to purchase a small condo, or home without a down payment that I don't have. I would pay monthly but where can I find this sort of help? Please be clear.
Also, I have been working and paying taxes since 14 years old every day of my life! That is 20 years as I am 34, and my father was a Disabled Vietnam Vet. So I don't want any annoying flame responses. IF certain people who refuse to work for their life to get aid, then someone like me should get aid. And thats that.

Tax payers are not buying houses for single mothers, single fathers, or married parents. There are no such grants.

If you are very low income (does not matter that you are single) HUD does have some programs to move you into very specific houses, not any, but ones they already bought, you buy from them. look on the hud.gov about buying a HUD home.
